Dual boot with Android?

Quick question, yes or not I guess (actually, if yes, elaborate plz hehe)

Can you install Android on your netbook/laptop and dual boot with the already-installed OS (Windows 7 in my case) ?

My GUESS, is that if the laptop can run Windows 7, you should be able to install Android and then 7.
