Help with Mobility Modder? ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to these forums, and moreso this tool. I just stumbled upon it trying to find a way to work around the OpenGL problem with my video card and read that the Mobility Modder is a way to modify the driver to allow more than just a default OpenGL 1.1 to run.

I used the download from here: http://www.hardwareheaven.com/modtool.php

And also was using this: ATI Radeon? Video Card Drivers

Since I'm running on a Windows 7 - 64 bit system on my laptop.

But when I download and extract the ATI files it works fine. When I go to use the modder, the program says "Driver Modification Finished" almost instantly. I then go into the folder, run the setup, and when I restart, it's like nothing changed at all. I believe I'm doing this properly, but maybe I'm doing something wrong. Any help?

Being restricted on the OpenGL disables me from being able to run many of my games (primarily of the indie variety, including Minecraft) and was wondering if anyone had any advice?

As a bit of other info: I'm using a Dell Studio XPS Laptop. And as stated before, Windows 7 - 64x bit, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670.
