Help. game display "spills off" screen

Just got the new Omega drivers d/led today. ever since i installed them on my laptop the game screen "spills off" the edge of my laptop's panel.

I have a Dell XPS notebook (gen. 1) my video card is a movility radeon 9700 pro (i think) just so you know the screen is a 15 inch widescreen display.

The game does fine until i use a resolution thats more than 720x480 resolution. IF i go any higher than that the display for the game "spills over" the edge of the screen, making it to where i can't select anyting at the bottom and right side.

also so you know... the game is ES4:Oblivion.

Since my screen is wide I need the higher resolutions so things do not look "stretched"

any help would be welcome... oh and i'm also a noob at this kinda stuff so plz put everything in noob terms.

Do ALL of the higher resolutions do this? I have noticed with the Omega drivers I'm using on my M9000 card that if I select a resolution that is widescreen or unsupported by my LCD panel that it just "spills off" the screen as you say. Try making sure the resolution you choose is compatible with your display. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

I've just posted about the exact same problem!
It seems there are around 3 resolutions that you can use properly (native multiples I think) and everything else goes off the screen!

I hope someone comes up with a solution for this, because it's annoying as hell!
