This is my first post here so thanks for looking at it everyone

Ok so here's my issue, I have the infamously problematic compaq presario x1000 with the radeon "9200" in it. I had some gaming issues with my old crappy hp drivers so I decided to try modded drivers. I personally think omega drivers are really nice but I have a small problem when windows starts up. Several horizonal bars go down my log in screen as if its trying to fade into view but the framerate cant keep up. After I log in, any windows I open and try to move around my desktop move as though I have only 4 frames per second. After some unknown period of time my screen will do some sort of manual refresh and everything will work smoothly. It is more of an annoyance than anything else, but has anyone else had this issue or does anyone know a way to fix it?

-btw... I am using the default settings on the omega drivers with 1920x1200 resolution if that helps
