exclamation Problems with ATI MOBILITY RADEON XPRESS 200 HELP PLEASE!

Hello,
I bought a HP Pavilion DV 8140 US a couple of mounths ago and i just realise im unable to play any games. Everytime when i play a game ( i tried NFS MW and DAOC ) after a while or as soon as i start the game my screen get mixed up ( in DAOC for exemple i can see game pixels vectors etc ) . Anyone know any sollution to solve it?

Im using Microsoft XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 with Service Pack 2.

Update your drivers from www.ati.com . Other than that I can't really suggest anything, that's a low-end chip.

I did, i have the latest drivers from ati.com but the problem continue to appear.

I've been messing with the Xpress 200M on my notebook here for a long time, and this is what I've come to find:

1) The Omega Drivers from 6.2 on (if memory serves) provide complete support for the Xpress 200M and should fix any problems you have.
2) If you need the centered timings for presentations (like I do at frequent intervals) then what I found is that I can mod the 6.4 drivers myself by adding support for the Xpress 200M from the manufacturuer's drivers to the 6.4 *.inf and manually install the driver.

If neither of those work, then I would install PowerStrip and see what HP clocked your Xpress 200M at and downclock it if you deem it necesarry.
