Probs with extended desktop on separate screen with ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 and Omeg

I have extended my notebook desktop on separate external wide screen ACER AL1916ws with a 1440x900 resolution via vga cable. Since the standard drivers do not support the screen resolution I needed to change the standard ATI drivers to the ATI Omega drivers.

After installing, my notebook (HP pavilion ZT33xx) has set the external monitor as the 1st monitor und switched off the notebook monitor which is build in.

Even when I change the settings in the ATI panel back to dual mode (2 monitors with extended desktop) with correct resolutions the external wide screen is always recognised as the 1st monitor and I have no extended desktop i. e. the build in monitor keeps to be switched off.

Does anybody can help me what goes wrong or how I can solve the problem???

Ive got this same monitor and same graphics card. Any idea what the problem is?
