Mobility Radeon 9000 -> DirectX 8.1 or Drivers?

Hello.

My Laptop is a Acer Aspire 1603LC_2.6 (1600), P4 2.6 Ghz, ATI Mobility Radeon 9000, Windows XP Home Edition.

It is my problem (This is the configure program of UFO Aftermath)

Normal:

few seconds after...

The Catalyst drivers don't work because they don't detect the card, I use a Acer-ATI Drivers these are in Acer's Web.

I use the ATI OmegaDrivers, The 273 version don't support my card, and I use the 252 version. But when execute the configure program of UFO Aftermath...

This returns to normal when refresh the screen, but I reinstall the original driver.

I investigate, and these things happen when use directx 8 applications (UFO Aftermath, Second Sight, Obscure), and with directx 7 applications (Monopoly, House of the Dead 2) don't happen...

I am very lost. Can anybody help me?
