Screen goes black

Hi everyone,

Yesterday, i used patje's tool to update my drivers to the newest catalyst 6.9. I have an ATI mobility radeon 9200.
Everything works wel, but when i want to start a game, the screen goes black, but it stays black and it changes realy slow to white. I can hear that the game is running in the background, but my screen is like filled with smoke

The only thing i can do is putting my laptop in standby, wake him up again and then everything works well. I can play with no problem then.
The only thing is, that this trick doesn't work for all games, somethimes i can't put my laptop in standby.

Does anyone know what could be the problem? It's quite annoying...

Unfortunately, the latest version of the Catalyst drivers doesn't support the 9200 actually - you might try dropping back to the Catalyst 6.4s and seeing how well they do...
