X600 Performance on my Gateway MX7515

hey everyone i was hoping you all could help me out. Im very confused about the current situation on Omega Drivers site about there droping of older cards since ati did. Does that include mine? Im also seeing that some ppl are labeling x600 as the 9700 well im not sure which way is up down anymore. i want to just get a little performance increase on this card in my labtop. if i try to oclock it with ATI Tool even 1mhz faster and try to run a d3d app my labtop bsod.

i need some of you gurus out there to tell me what is goign on with omega drivers new rules.

-what i can do with this X600 card for oveclocking. (its not even runnign at the default its runnint 398/399 ((gpu)) )
-i know this x600 can do some good gamin i just cant figure otu whats up and whats down anymore.

- i use a chill pad with this labtop. and always try to give it good airflow if that helps anyone on some advice they can give me.

--- I cant run call of duty very well at the lcds native rez of 1280x800 . if i want to play Call of Duty at a good fps i have to go down to 640x480 or what not to really get a good fps of 20 or more which is what i want but i hate the screen rez. I want to also beable to run wow at higher* settings instead of having to run everything all the way down i know for a fact this card cdan do better than this i just cant figure out why everythigns being so shitty.

any help from you all would be great.

System Specs

In my opinion, Avoid overclocking mobile GPUs at all costs. It's playing with fire that WILL burn you . I can't remember my model number of laptop, but i believe it might be the exact same thing, but with 1gig of ram. I can run WoW at all the settings maxed in a raid environment and still pull decent framerates, running no overclocking, and probably now out-of-date Omega Drivers.
