Is it possible to lock memory sections in Driver

Hello @ all!
I've got a problem with my Ati 9000 mobil.
Some sections of the memory (64Mb) are damaged.
I'm using the Omega Driver and Windows XP Professional
Is it possible to lock parts of the graphic memory? I don't think so but It doesn't hurt to ask
