I have a radeon mobility 9700 video card on a sager laptop. Everytime i try and play a video it will freeze right away, it causes the whole system to freeze.. i have all the display setting at the default

driver ver. is 8.31.0.0
any ideas what will be causing this? and how to fix it

Welcome to the DH forums!

Hmmm... Are you using a modded driverset, or one from the manufacturer's support area? The problem with video playback was/is a problem with a lot of laptops using a modded driverset...

What is your specific model please?

Appreciate the nice screenshot and the model info - but unfortuately not personally familiar with your error - hang out a while and see if someone else chimes in on this one - OK?

The driverset version info would be helpful (if not essential) too.

Typical... Omegadrive has spoken to that issue - for some it is a compatability problem between the bios and the driverset. For others, the problem has yet to be solved definitively.
