x600

I have a gateway laptop with the ati mobility x600 and I was wondering what the best/newest drivers were for it. I saw omega drivers dropping a lot of cards and I was wondering if the x600 was included in that.

System Specs

You could try ATI's own driver linked to (as of Nov. 21 2006) from the thread (scroll down to near the bottom of the page for the link to the driver) Here or you could try the Omegadrivers available from DriverHeaven Downloads - Omegadrive section and they do expressly support the Mobility X600 chip.

Be sure to thoroughly remove your previous driverset and control panel software. The DriverCleaner available Here is highly recommended.

And, welcome to the DriverHeaven forums!

You're welcome - my pleasure.

Check ATI's own website in the Knowledge Base for the Mobility drivers - you'll see issues there you might encounter and be able to avoid ahead of time. The time you spend researching here and at ATI will be well spent...
