Mobility x600 Cat. Drivers

I just had a quick question concerning my drivers. Im using a ATI Radeon Mobility x600 using a pentium 4 HT. I recently downloaded the mod tool, my questions is I went to http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html => Media Center => Radeon => x600. Then downloaded cat 6.12 , did i download the correct drivers or am I going to mess my comp up? Thanks for any help you can supply.

But, if you're willing to learn and experiment, there's a bunch of us here who are willing to do what we can to assist...

What is the exact make and model of your laptop?
