Maximum Reported Resolution Wrong

I recently applied the DHModtool to the Catalyst 6.12 desktop driver so I could run the driver on my Acer Aspire 1660 notebook. The Aspire 1660 has a Mobility Radeon 9700 card. DHModtool worked, but the Maximum Reported Resolution (under Notebook Panel Properties) is only 1024x768. The actual panel size is 1280x800. How do I get that resolution?
