Big Problem with 9200 & Omegas (38252)
Omegas don't seem to want to work on my system. I know I'm installing them properly (using driver cleaner to get rid of the old cats, restarting without the network, then installing, etc.), and I'm aware that there are issues with newer drivers so I'm using the 38252s, but to no avail: upon restart after installation my screen is distorted (it almost looks as though there's an overclocking problem--multiple displays overlapping and stretching in small areas, like scrambled porn--but that can't be it as I specified "no messing with clockspeed") during installation.
Is anyone else having similar problems? Adjusting resolutions and refresh rates isn't helping, and I'm forced to use the older cats on my machine, which are terrible and causing graphics issues with some newer games like City of Villains. Should I try something even older than the 38252s, or am I just boned? |

I am having the exact same problem, already tried the Omega drivers and the Official Catalysts with the ModTool. Does anyone know what was the last driver to work with a Mobility 9200?

I am using ati radeon 9200 mobile and I have freezeing problems and try to update driver to catalyst 6.5 Omega says 3.8.252 is using 6.5 and it is the last updated driver for 9200series. Therefore I install it. However I face with same problem. my screen is distorted. I notice that omega 3.8.252 install ati radeon 9000 how can I fix it?
