Is there a way to update Mobility Radeon drivers for Windows Vista? Something like DHmodtool4... or other way...

ps: what about an official thread for this topic?

till 7.2 it was possible to use _m58 in inf to fit my x1900 mobility. Since 7.3 and also for 7.4 i use the x1900 series driver. Works fine but not with optiomal performance i think. But far faster then using the crappy driver based on 6.x that FSC delivered with my notebook. --rgds dH

sndlogic is on a distinguished road

I have 7.4 working on both x1400 and x1600 under Vista. I was able to do a manual install on Vista 7.4 drivers by modifing C:\ATI\SUPPORT\7-4_vista32_dd_ccc_enu_44985\Packages\Drivers\Displa y\LH_INF\CL_44985.inf.

I have 2 laptops, with an x1400 and x1600, so I copied the Vista 7.2 details into the appropriate places in 7.4 (which are 'missing' from 7.3 and 7.4). See details below...

By manual install I mean manually update the drivers via device manager...could not use the ATI install method.

I also could not figure out where to modify CCC, so that is not installed. But the latest beta of ATI Tray Tools 1.3.6.1028 seems to work OK with most settings.
