Omega Drivers on Mobility 9000 Win XP

Hey, with the latest version of the Omega Drivers, and I think more specifically with the direct x9.0c, it seems to disable my 3d hardware acceleration. DirectX Diag just tells me that it doesn't detect 3d hardware acceleration. I'm suspecting it's because they're not 'microsoft genuine' drivers. Because as soon as I upgraded to directx 9.0c and put new drivers on top of them the 3d acceleration conks out, and then when I go back to my original 2004 mobility drivers off the dell website, everything works fine.

Any one experience anything similar..?
