Xpress 200M Catalyst 7.5 used mobilty modder...

Hi there Guys...

Im new in this forum... and let me tell you that this forum rules...i found what i was looking for...

But just one thing...

First my system specs

Toshiba Satellite L35-SP2011
Intel Celeron 1.6 Ghz
Ram Memory 512mb
Ati Radeon Xpress 256mb for Intel Chips
Windows Vista Home

Now the thingie..

When i was using Windows XP, i was able to run Doom 3 smoothly, not in ultra details, but with medium details ran ok...

I had the next display settings..

Total Graphics memory: 256mb

My Laptop is Windows Vista Capable, so i upgraded, and i downloaded all drivers from Toshiba.

But when i went to Display settings, Advanced Settings, i saw this...

Total Available Graphics Memory: 127mb
Dedicated Video Memory: 64mb
System Video Memory: 0
Shared System Memory: 64mb

And the Catalyst Control Center was not installed.

So, i was freaked out about that, so i install the drivers for xp under vista and i got the 256mb of graphics memory, but windows didnt recognize them, so aero glass didnt run at all, kept me saying no D3d memory, so i downloaded DNA-Ati 5.1.7.5x32, and windows didnt saya thing, i got my 256mb but still no aero effects...

Then i downloaded the latest drivers from ATI and the mobility modder, and it installed the drivers , the CCC runs well, but i still have the Damn 127mb of graphics memory...

Does anyone know how to free the lost 129 mb?

Thanks for the help...

Really appreciated...
