Tough Problem, Old Card, Mobility 7000 AGP
Hello all, I hate to bring up a problem on such an old, unsupported PoS card, but you all are pretty much the last place I have to turn to because no official source is willing or able to give me support.
I have a 3-4 year old Toshiba Satellite notebook with the Radeon Mobility 7000 AGP graphics card. I long ago had to use the driver mod tool on this site when it still included my card to update my drivers to play the game WoW. Well, WoW has updated and my drivers have not, damn you TOSHIBA! But, now when I play certain parts of the game reliably cause a total VPU lockup and I am forced to restart. I have no idea how to fix this. I don't think overheating is a problem, my fun and such is pretty clean. Does anyone keep an archive of the mobility modder program version from the past, maybe where they still included support for my card. I know the latest Catylyst cannot be supported by my card surely, but I'm sporting 6.14.0010.6517. Maybe if I can update closer to the current version, things will work for me again. I don't know, I'm really frustrated. Can anyone help? |

A past version of the omega drivers I attempted to download in '05 caused a complete failure of my video card and I was unable to restore the old drivers. Can someone walk me through a way to attempt to use the omega drivers but still be able to restore the past drivers / unscrew up my computer if it gets screwed up by my attempting this? Thanks. Best.
