ATI X1200 Drivers please!

I just bought a Toshiba A215-S4757 and within a couple days couldnt stand vista... so i put XP on it hoping many of the drivers were out there, but two i can't seem to find are the sound, and video.

Does anyone have, or found the drivers for an ATI Radeon X1200 for Windows XP Pro x32
Please help!!!!

Greetings and welcome to Driverheaven!

You'll be needing mobility drivers for that laptop. Moving the post to the appropriate forum.

I dont really think its considered a mobility radeon.. unless every card that goes into a laptop is... My last laptop stated it was a mobility.. This one does not

That is correct. If the laptop is using an integrated graphics chipset from AMD/ATI you might find that the main Catalyst driver works for you. Although you may want to consider that the main desktop Catalyst driver may not support any mobile like features as it is configured for desktop products. So power management in the laptop may be an issue when running on battery. It is also possible that the desktop driver may need tweaks to handle the WS display, but I believe it will support the 1280x800 display.

In any case you can try installing the driver and if the integrated graphics is supported then the driver will install. If not you get an INF error and cannot install the driver.

the link below will send you to ecs web page. the desktop motherboard chip-sets are almost the same match and the video driver is the same as the one on our laptops. it is a huge download. it fixed the .net 2.0 program reloads the south-bridge drivers and the IDE controller. all the other drivers i found at the Lenovo website. happy hunting. oh the sound card drivers are at realtek website you will be looking for the HD audio drivers. if you find this helpfull please share it i have found 5 other forms that have the same ?'s

It's just the ati south brigde driver, we need the ati radeon x1200 driver.

I have Toshiba A215-S4757 which is having Windows vista. I just switched to Windows Xp SP2.
I got drivers, I have installed those,

But my system has some problem.
While running It is hanging 2 - 3 seconds and giving sound like Trea................. then automaticaly running. It occurs 1- 2 minutes frequently.
Could you please help me to fix this problem.
