Stripes on whole Display

Hy guys!
The last post in this thread was posted long time ago. And I'd like to know if something new has been worked out related to our problem (please post, if you know something new).

And for the records: I think I'll buy my next PC or Laptop with a card from NVIDIA. I don't really like the UI provided by the NVIDIA-drivers, but the quallity of these cards seems to be higher than the quallity of the ATI cards.

Hey I've downloaded an installed the new Omega driver 48442. And it seems that the problem discussed here happens not so often now.
