What can I upgrade my ATI x600 Mobility to?

I have an HP zd8000 laptop. I know the card can "possibly" be upgraded.

I haven't cracked the case open or done any poking around in regards to space of form factor, but does anyone have experience with these models?

I've heard of people upgrading their zd8000 and other laptops (mostly from Dell) to x800's, x1350's (if you even consider than upgrade), and even Nvidia 7800 Go cards.

But, this is all from random second-hand anecdotes on some forum I found through Google.

Also... I have a friend that is very experienced building laptops for himself and clients, but I'm not sure what card I should buy or how I would find that out... and then have him help me with the physical upgrade

Any advice here is appreciated.

Hi

As far as I know that X600 is solidly built in your laptops motherboard and can't be changed...
