Vista, 7.10: Resolution problem on extended desktop with DVI

Hi guys

I tried to make the subject line as descriptive as possible, so please don't beat me with a stick if I missed something

I've just installed the newest ATI drivers, 7.10 with DHMod in Vista for my HD2400XT card on my Travelmate 6592.

The driver works fine per say, it's just that I can't set my resolution(1600x1050) on the secondary monitor using DVI, the max resolution is 1360x765.

The weird thing is that if I use VGA it can, but the picture isn't all that nice, so I prefer DVI.

Iv'e reverted to Acer's ATI drivers, which is:

Driver Packaging Version: 8.401-070727a-051475C-Acer

And everything works fine again.

I've only installed the new control center now, as Acer's has cut out all the CCC features, but I would like to use the new driver if I can.

Any suggestions?
