I have the Ati radeon HD2600 in my Lenovo Y710 notebook using windows XP and I am looking for something out there that can get me a higher resolution than 1440 x 900!
I tried the Catalyst drivers and the omega drivers and I can only get up to 1440x900...any help is appreciated! Thanks much! |

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!
The issue might be in the gfx cards BIOS that it's coded so that it can't output higher resolutions than 1440x900. |

The maximum resolution you can set for your notebook's LCD depends on the LCD panel installed in the notebook, if it's a 1440x900 LCD that's the highest resolution you're going to get from it.
If you need more resolution you need to use a bigger (external) monitor, keeping in mind that a higher resolution requires more video memory as well. |
