Ati mobility HD2600 and Vista

Good day,
Im new to laptop graphics card and I have a problem with my new notebook MSI GX710.
It have ATI mobility HD2600 and I dont know which and from I would download driverfor Windows Vista 32bit. In catalyst on oficial CD I dont know how to change custom resolution because LCD is widescreen and I need resolution like 1440x900 and 1280x800.

I have the Ati radeon HD2600 in my Lenovo Y710 notebook using windows XP and I am looking for something out there that can get me a higher resolution than 1440 x 900!
I tried the Catalyst drivers and the omega drivers and I can only get up to 1440x900...any help is appreciated! Thanks much!

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!

The issue might be in the gfx cards BIOS that it's coded so that it can't output higher resolutions than 1440x900.

The maximum resolution you can set for your notebook's LCD depends on the LCD panel installed in the notebook, if it's a 1440x900 LCD that's the highest resolution you're going to get from it.

If you need more resolution you need to use a bigger (external) monitor, keeping in mind that a higher resolution requires more video memory as well.
