openGL not available

Hi you people, I'm new with forums like this, so I don't know if I posted on the right one. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I have a question concerning my laptop and my ATI video-card. These are the fact:

Acer Aspire 3100 WLMI
AMD Sempron processor 3500+
Video-card:
256MB ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Hypermemory

The problem is that my ATI doesn't support openGL. A problem very well known to this site. I have done everything in my power te get it working. I have tried de newest Modtools and I have the newest drivers. The modds were done correctly, but my Cataclyst Control Center keeps giving me the following:

Drivers Package Version 8.332-070108a1-041581C-Acer
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D-driver version 7.01.01.569
2D- Driver file Path /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/Class/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/0000

OpenGL-version Not available

Catalyst® Control Center version: 2007.1205.1451.26462

Please help me if you can.

Mine says the same...but its the drivers fault...in my case..

I have same problem,
when I play CS,
The specified video mode is not supported. the game will now run in software mode。
I test my OpenGL.It is so crazy,the frame is only 13.
Before I install the Omega Driver,my frame is 1300;
Video-card:
256MB ATI Radeon 2600HD XT

Welcome to DriverHeaven!

If you're using Omegadrivers, be sure to NOT activate ATT. It has just come to our attention that, for whatever reason, ATT is disabling OpenGL. So, exit ATT and make sure it's not setup to start with Windows.

Then, try the game again and let us know if it works or not.

Sorry,I reply so late;
ATT is ATT CONTROLPANEL?
When I test OpenGL,I don't activate ATT.
Recently I unload Omegadrivers(include ATT) and install my original driver.
But the problem still exists.Why?

I am sure that the problem is not made by ATT.
Today I reinstall the Omegadrivers and Uninstall the ATI Tray Tools Only.
Then I reboot my computer. The problem still exists.
By the way I found a bug when I reinstall the Omegadrivers.
I clear then checkbox ATI Tray Tools,but it still install in my system.
