Weird white square on my screen!

Ok so I uninstalled my old Omega Drivers, then followed the directions and installed the new ATI drivers with the mod you guys have on this site. Then I restarted and everything was normal, I saw that I still had MultiRes, so I uninstalled it then I noticed a little white square at the top of my desktop. Whenever I open Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer it disappears but at the desktop screen it reappears, any ideas what it is and how to get rid of it?

it is a know bug with the latest Catalyst drivers, it will do no harm of any sort and should be fixed next release

Do I have to uninstall my old ones? or can I just install this one over them?

It's best to uninstall the old drivers first. Just hit Add/Remove Programs in your Conrol Panel (for Windows XP) then uninstall the ATi drivers there. Then restart your PC. After, install the new 8.2s...
