Error: Software OpenGL Context

Dell Inspiron 6000
Radeon Mobility X300

Omega Drivers 38413 work great, no issues what so ever with any game.
Omega Drivers 48442 gives me a "Software OpenGL Context" error when launching UBI Soft's "Shadowbane." Everything else seems to work great though.

Tried a forum search but didn't find an answer. :/

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't understand how the Omega 38413 drivers could work flawlessly but not the 48442 drivers.

What is done differently with the latest set that could cause the problem?
How could that problem be resolved?

Is this an issue of software not supporting new features?

Please explain if it is something wrong with the software so that I can petition the game developers to improve or expand support. Is the game not looking in the right place for the driver or OpenGL version? Is the version check out of bounds and throwing an error? Does the game not support the OpenGL version used in the latest Omega Drivers? Do the latest drivers enable/disable something that is causing an conflict?

Any help, please.
