moblity HD 2600 problems

I just downgraded my ASUS F3KA from vista to XP I'm using the ATI Omega drivers i tried to run Call of duty 4 (which ran great on vista) and I'm getting horrible frame rate as well as resolution, its as if COD 4 is not recognizing my video card.

I don't really know much about this stuff. hoping that someone can help me out I do nt really want to go back to vista but if Xp will not run any of my games then I may have too.
