Radeon X1200, catalyst + performance trouble

Hello. I've been having a few problems with my Radeon X1200 integrated card.

I can't even find specs for it, or I would compare it to my desktop's GeForce 6200OC, which I thought was lower-end. I'm trying to run Vanguard on lowest settings possible, and it plays worse than it used to on my PC on slightly higher settings. Plus, what was working fine in-game earlier, no longer does so, as of maybe 5 hours later, with no system changes. Added to that, when trying to update the drivers, my system says that the Catalyst installer is not supported and aborts.

I'm running a:
Toshiba Satellite A215-S7462
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Tech. TL-60 2.00 GHz
2G RAM
On Vista Home Premium.

Did I just make an stupid purchasing decision? =/
Anything would be appreciated. Just let me know if you need any more info.
