Problems with Mobility Radeon 9000 IGP

Hello. I am currently having issues with the aforementioned driver on my Toshiba laptop. It started when I tried to play Portal, which is a really good game, by the way. Anyway, after I updated it and all that, I got a message saying that my drivers were out of date. Thus, I went to the ATI site and tried to get the file from there, but as it turns out, they don't have the files anymore. A friend recommended the hacked "Omega Drivers" to me, but after I installed those, my problems got worse. I suddenly had problems with games I could normally run, such as the Touhou series and PSO, no longer worked, either. If there's something I can do to fix this on the Omega drivers, or a different driver that I could get that would work, please tell me. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Also, I think the original drivers were uninstalled when I installed the Omega drivers. Would there be backups anywhere on my computer? Some games are better than none, at least.
