mobility radeon m6p

Hi, I have an old laptop with Mobility radeon M6P, and when I try to install the driver, I'm getting an error msg is that it can't find some .sys and .sy_ files. I downloaded the driver from the manufacturer site,. I installed XP Pro, but on their website it says that the driver is compatible with XP Home, could that be the problem?
