System Specs

Hello, Welcome to DriverHeaven.net!

The simplest solution would be to install the newest modded (or Modified) drivers from Omega's archive. Your 9000 series GPU can support upto and including Omega Drivers based on Catalyst 6.5

Try downloading and installing "Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.252 (Catalyst 6.5)"
You can visit The Omega Driver archive here.

If these drivers give you trouble, uninstall them and try older ones, like 6.3 or 6.2.
make sure to uninstall old drivers from your system before installing new ones.

Good luck, take care

Re: Driver Issues for ATI Moblity Radeon 9000

But waht happans if 3.8.252 (I have 9700pro mobility) gives you great 3d performance for 3d app. but disables the directX 9.0c and the basic visual perfomance such as scrolling, moving windows on the desktop becomes absymal. This is my case. Either Itunes can not scroll pics of albums, srolling is awfull in general and windows leave trails but I get great 3D performance or opposite is the case. Help
