??? PLEASE HELP!!!! Is my x600 corrupt?

Ok, no one seems to have anything to help me with my problem, so, since any driver I try, I get a black screen, if I go to safe mode and disable it, all is fine. Would I be correct to think the memory on the x600, 128mb dedicated, is bad, so when I boot with no driver, the system loads a vga driver and uses a portion of my memory to run? I can watch streming video, any video on my HDD, but black screen from dvd player, posibly no buffering without ati driver? please help, I have tried omega, mobility modder, which worked 1 time, after shutdown and restart, black screen again. If anyone knows please help.

System Specs

if your memory went bad, your screen usually would have artifacts.

I've posted the same issue to another thread. I do see minimal artifacts sometimes if I type enough when the screen is black. It's usually just one line though, so I don't think it's due to hardware.
