T40 Connected to JVC LDC HDTV. Display cuts out sometimes

I'm hoping you guys have a solution for my problem. Let me first explain my current setup. This is only for my video.

IBM T40 -> Port Replicator -> DVI to HDMI Cable -> Monoprice 4 to one Switch -> JVC LCD HDTV.

I have the audio going out via RCA cables.

I set my power options to always be on. I disabled it from going into standy or turning off the monitor/hard drive.

Since my T40 has the Radeon 7500 mobility graphics card, I installed Omega Catalyst 6.5 drivers. It has allowed me to output in 1920x1080 w/o any overscan issues.

My problem is that I would sometimes be watching a movie, then out of no where the TV would start to flicker and the signal would be lost. I can still hear the audio though.

If I open my laptop, the screen would be white and nothing would display on the laptop itself until I get out of full screen.

Have any of you guys ran into this problem? It's getting annoying

Also, right now my refresh rate is locked at 60Hz, but I know my TV specs say its 120Hz. Where do I change it? I tried looking for the option to disable DDC, but I don't see it anywhere.

Sad

I read at thinkwiki, that modified drivers for ATI Mobility cards may lead to unexpected errors with the hardware. Guess you ran into some...

I am also using a T40 to connect to my HDMI enabled HP w2207h widescreen TFT. Right now I canīt go higher than the aforementioned 1280x1024. Which set of drivers would you recommend? Or should I just modify the official IBM ATI drivers with the mod tool?

EDIT: I downloaded the current drivers from Lenovo and modded them with the Mobility Modder. 1680x1050 works like a charm! Big Kudos to the guys who programmed the Mobility Modder!

Best regards
