Problem with the mobility 9000 IGP <help?

I have recently brought team fortess 2 on my laptop and however it doesnt run. When i launch the game it closes out saying:

engine error: pixel shader must be at least 1.0 to play.

My pixel shader is at 1.4 but im guessin my driver is out of date. Ive tried using the cat 6.11 driver usin the mobility modder and i still cant play.

heres my specs:
HP Pavilion zv5000
2 X Intel Pentium 4 CPU (3.4 GHz ea.)
ATI mobility radeon 9000 IGP
1.12g Ram
120g harddrive

HELP PLEASE

Hello, and welcome to DriverHeaven.net!

Make sure your BIOS is the enwest version from HP. According to HP, the newest version for the intel variant of the Pavilion zv5000 series is F.45 dated 05-2005.

Make sure you have an ATI GART driver installed. It is the driver that runs the AGP Bus which connects your GPU to the rest of the system.

You can get one from ATI by going here.

You only need to download and install the GART Driver from this page, nothing else.
Installing this is usually silent, in that it doesn't give you feedback that it finished installing. Install this first, wait a few minutes to make sure the install is complete, and restart before installing new graphics drivers.

Try installing "Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.252 (Catalyst 6.5)" from Omega Driver's Archive, here. Make sure you uninstall your old graphics drivers first!
