X1400, uninstalled good drivers, installed bad, what do I do now?

I was trying to use the mobility modder. Well, it didn't work. I have a Dell laptop, Windows xp sp2, Inspiron E1705, Ati Mobility Radeon X1400, now without the proper drivers. I uninstalled the drivers, and tried to install the latest desktop ones and following the instructions perfectly. Didn't work so I tried using system restore to go back. I don't think that worked either because now I can't access the Catalyst system thing. Here's what it looked like before I tried to mod it and now can't access it:

Notice it doesn't say the Catalyst version? Like 7.4? Anyway, forget about the modding, I just want my old drivers back. I tried Ati's website, but my laptop isn't compatible. So I have no idea where to get my old drivers from, and have the Catalyst system work again. Please help!

My friend told me to try repairing Catalyst in add/remove programs menu, and it worked! It appears my drivers at least are fine. Whether it's the original, or the modded, I don't know. I just know it works, and I won't be messing with them again. No more screwing around with vital software!
