heeeellllppp! with my ati radeon mobility 1600x

hi guys, i'm new and i need help with my graphic card a radeon mobility 1600x. all started when i instaled gears of war on the pc, it asked for the 8.4 hot fix driver but the driver given by toshiba was 8.3. i installed your software to make a mobility driver from a desktop driver but after i've installed, nothink change infact the driver is always the same the 8.3 version...can some one give me a solution to instal the 8.4 hotfix or the 8.7 relase?

i played for some levels ,18 i think ,after the game crashed and i lost all my checpoints as the warning at the beginning of the game said..
