Mobiliy Radeon 9000-9200

Hi, I have problem with my graphic card.Yesterday i turn on my notebook (HP Compaq nx7000) and resolution on screen was 640x480 or 1024x768.I tried to reinstal my driver for graphic card and after restart all was ok.After next restart screen resolution was back to 1024x768 and I don´t know why.I tried to find some new driver but last one is from 2004.I think this is not driver problem.I tried to reinstal my system (W XP professional) but still the same problem. Could you someone help me with this? Is it HW problem?
