Question about upgrading drivers for Dell 6400 x1300 mobility 256mb

Hey guys, I am currently playing warhammer open beta, and I'm using the factory dell drivers. I am hoping to squeeze as much extra fps as I can out of my card, which is handling the game ok, and I think that it might be time to consider kicking the old OEM '06 drivers to the curb.

does anyone have any specific experience with that model and card, as far as which driver update process works best, and what the results are like?

I'm not interested in having a couple of days worth of BSOD and reformatting over the whole deal, so I'd like to verify something new that someone is specifically using, successfully.
