Hey,
i bought an asus F3se with Vista OS installed(the description of OS on the site is wrong). I wanted to install XP on it, but there is no official driver for the ATI X2300 graphic card for XP OS. I tried Omega and DNA drivers for it, they did not worked well. So my last change for XP was Mobility Modder. It worked. The acting of the graphic card is better than with Omega or DNA, but in device manager and in CCC(catalist control center) is the graphic card detected as X1700 and not like X2300. In Mobility Modder description is written, that the ATI X2300 is supported with both, XP and VISTA. I was searching in this forum, but no one was complaining about the same problem(if yes, then am sorry). Has anybody the same problem or any idea how to solve the problem with the bad detected graphic card?

I know that X2300 is an improved X1700, but i would have a better feeling, that i'm not loosing performence because of the bad detection.
