ATI Mobility Radeon on Vista/7

I have a Sony PCG-Z1WAMP1 laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon- I think its 7500 - with XP but I recently installed Windows 7 on dual-boot. Everything works great except for display driver. ATI stopped supporting these a while back, but I read that Vista includes a driver for the Mobility Radeon 9000 that many Vista users had success with. Can anyone w Vista email me the 9000 driver, or know where I can get them? it would be greatly appreciated! (apparently, Vista also included a 7500 driver, but most users had issues with this driver).

Go to Microsoft Update Catalog search for download by either product number or hardware ID, then dowload any you want, you may need to install winrar trial or any app capable of extracting *.rar files, oops, that link only provides ipdates, I zipped up the 32 bit Vista driver for you, it is the same driver for both the 7500 and 9000...

PS I tried out the driver, worked fine on Win7 as far as I can see, If it gives you trouble I think it is just because of the old card not having enough memory...maybe try disabling hardware acceleration..

Thanks very much for that, the Mobility 9000 drivers from that package are working fine for me on a Compaq N800c (ATI M7500 64MB). I now no longer get BSOD's on shutdown and CPU usage at idle has dropped markedly (0%-3% idle inline with when the standard VGA driver is installed).
