mobility x700 opengl texture loading woe
Hi guys and gals, I use cycling 74's jitter software for creating opengl apps on my laptop, recently textures have stopped loading on to the card and any solids that I try to texture appear black. At first I thought it was a software issue but all my jitter patches work fine on other computers so I installed glview from OpenGL Extensions Viewer and when I try to run rendering tests they fail with the following information
...Legacy PFD creation.: SetPixelFormat ID:5 failed: The operation completed successfully. Temporary context creation failed: The operation completed successfully. - 1680 x 1050, 32 (AAx0) ...DestroyWindow: ReleaseDC failed: Invalid device context (DC) handle. 3dmark06 runs fine (albeit really slowly) and dxdiag works fine (it loads the texture for the cube). I've tried the omega drivers, the original and the updated drivers from my laptop manufacturer's website. My laptop is an Acer Travelmate 8104wmli The only thing I can think of now is reflashing the bios on the graphics card but I don't even know if that is possible on a laptop gfx card. I'm hoping someone more knowledgeable than me on this forum might be able to help. Kind regards, crx |

Re: mobility x700 opengl texture loading woe
Bump. I'm getting the same thing on Mobility Radeon 9700. Any thoughts?
