unchangeable resolution - HD 2400 XT

Dear Driverheaven

It's my first post here, i hope for an answer.

I was playing Farcry 2, regularry in 1440 * 900, no problem. But for no time, the game start lacking, and the graphic is always best?
Now i want to lower the resolutions, but it can't, i cant change it from farcry 2 menu. The only avalible resolution is 1440 * 900? . how can i solve that?
Why can't my graphiccard no longer handle the game?
