Help needed to install drivers

Hello. I have an ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4850 graphics card. Running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1. I had the 8.12 drivers installed and I tried to update to the 9.1 ones, so I started by uninstalling the older ones.

I then run Mobility Modder on the 9.1 drivers and tried to install them. The problem is that they don't seem to install. I get no error message; Catalyst Install Manager says everything installed successfully. I read the log and it doesn't even mention trying to install the drivers. I'm currently using the Generic VGA drivers, so I'm quite desperate.

I know my graphics card isn't listed as supported by Mobility Modder, but I'd greatly appreciate any kind of help.

Uninstall everything connected to video, even Nvidia PhysX drv, clean with CCcleaner and retry. I had same problem on x64SP1, but finally using 9.1
