Mobility X1800 / Win 7 / custom res

OK - so I think I've done this right...

I've registered for the forum...

I've searched for threads that solve my problem b4 posting...

I'm running a Dell XPS M2010 with Radeon Mobility x1800 card. I'm running Win 7 (build 7100) - and I'd like to be able to display a custom resolution on my 2nd dispplay. (I'm using the M2010 as my media centre). I have a plasma hooked up via DVI (with HDMI adapter) and I'd like to send 1366 x 768 to my plasma. The plasma will scale up and down from other resolutions - but I'm just trying to get the aspect ratio correct for DVD's / TV etc.

Any thoughts? I seem to recall doing this with previous O/S's but cannot find how to do it in Windows or in CCC.

The native res of my laptop screen is 1600 x 1050 - but I don't need to run it that high, if that prohibits me from running higher than XGA on the plasma.

Any help - greatly appreciated.
