Streaning problems Mobilty Radeon 9000

This is my first post and I have been living with this problem for awhile.
I have an inspiron 8500 with a mobility 9000 by radeon. The machine is a pentium 4 2.2 ghz with 2megs of ram. It uses xp with service pack 3.
I originally modded the radeon driver with an older version of the mod tool. It worked great!
The hard drive crashed and after upgrading I modded the driver with the final version of the mod tool. The mod appeared to go fine and the catalyst install went fine. Ever since I have been having video streaming problems. It's a real haedache when your trying to do a Adobe tutorial and the video is five steps behind the audio.
Any suggestions?
