exclamation Mobility HD3470 Hybrid X2

Hello,

I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Pa3553 laptop with a ATI Mobility HD3470 Hybrid X2, Fujitsu only provides drivers for Vista and I've downgraded to XP 64. The problem is I just can't get the GPU to work, I've tried Mobility Modder using the Catalyst 8.12 version as I've seen suggested on the forum but it only causes my screen to go black permanently and when I enter safe mode to uninstall the driver my GPU is listed as an HD3450...

Any ideas ?

Welcome to DH

This downgrading to versions of XP seems to be an ongoing issue amongst mobile users. I don't have an answer for you but moved this to the mobility section you may receive more help here.

Not that I am aware of without some serious coding changes or slipstreaming.

Great, so I guess I have no other choice than to go back to Vista.

Or try out Win7 if you were unhappy with Vista there is an RC available.
