Having troubles with aspect ratio under Win7 (Mobility Radeon X1600)

So, first a little bit about my configuration...

Laptop: Aspire 5115 WLMi with Mobility Radeon x1600 128 Mb
OS: Win7 RC1 (6.1.7100)
Catalyst: 9.1 plus CCC from 9.4 package

So, basically drivers installation went fine, hardware acceleration and Aero are working, and all seemed okay, but when I opened CCC (first it was from 9.1 package; CCC from 9.4 was installed later) and tried to customize aspect ratio settings on "Notebok Panel Properties" tab, CCC denied to save settings and dropped it back to "Centered", when I wanted for "Save aspect ratio" since my card isnt too fast, but I still want to use most of screen place.

Installation of CCC from 9.4.2 package for Win7 gives nothing except that "Notebok Panel Properties" now simply denies to open; but sub-items opens fine.

ATi Tray Tool gives nothing too - it just droppes settings back to "Centered" just like CCC 9.1 did.

So, is there any solution for this trouble, guys, or I must roll back to XP?
