OrionLeo is on a distinguished road

exclamation Radeon 345 IGP driver issue.

Hello there.

First things first, I am aware of the sticky at the top of this forum, and while it would be helpful to someone, I have completely NO IDEA what any of anything in there means.

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.090206-1233)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Sony Corporation
System Model: PCG-K33(UC)
BIOS: PhoenixBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0
Processor: Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz
Memory: 446MB RAM
Page File: 349MB used, 708MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode

I want to play EVE, but I've never really played anything on this laptop before. Originally, I wanted to play WoW, but I didn't want to gamble on something if I wasn't able to play it in the first place.

EVE support told me to update my drivers, and, well, here I am now.

Anyways, I tried to download Catalyst 4.10 (saw it on the sticky, tried to do it.) but it gave me a message and said it didn't have the things it needed to download, or something along that lines.

And, I don't want to use Mobility Modder because if I get it wrong it says I could screw up my driver and leave me with a seriously worse problem! So I'm at a total loss on what to do with this god-forsaken piece of machinery!

It's not my laptop, originally. In fact I found it, abandoned, inside of an old drawer when I moved into my old house, it had viruses on it and I cleaned it out.

Now I want to play games on it, but when EVE starts up it freezes my computer and the only way to fix it is through a forced shut down. (Unrelated issue, but whatever.)

As I would read the sticky, as I've mentioned, I don't understand any of that stuff past what RAM is and what a CD is or a hard drive.

So please, if anyone could help me update this thing, or at least direct me to a page where it does, I would be thankful.

If I left out something or something doesn't make any sense, just say so and I'll try to clear it up.
