Mobile HD4650 Drivers for XP 32bits

Greetings ppl,

First of all, my apologies if this is not the right thread! :|

It's possible to confirm that the Mobile HD4650 1GB DDR3 - ( ATI M96 GDDR3 (1GB) is compatible with Windows XP 32bits?

If compatible, there are drivers?

I have that graphic card in my NB Toshiba SAT P300-1F0 and i can't find any drivers compatible.

If im correct on the google search,That Laptop is designed to use windows Vista.. Usually when a manufacturer opts to support a OS (In this case Vista) they usually don't support older OS systems like XP..

That probably why you can not find XP drivers...

But i dont understand why people want to go backwards,as Vista is much faster and more stable than XP in my opinion.

This is a SATTELITE PRO, and the only driver that is not available is to graphic card.
Toshiba says that is duo an technology limitation.

I just want to confirm that info

our if are any other driver available.

The odd thing is under Toshibas website.. They don't list a Toshiba SAT P300-1F0 as a SATTELITE PRO.. And nothing is similar..

The closest is under SATTELITE ? but still there is nothing that match's.

Hi,

Toshiba has a similar NB with the same graphics card, Satellite Pro P300-245 and also has no drivers (for this NB they have all drivers except graphic).

I also have that nb, and yes I contacted Toshiba and they told me that XP wasn't compatible! WRONGGGGG

I installed XP, and after a few time I found a way to convert a diferent driver to this one..and it worked just fine!! I had to format again (viruses), and now I'm looking for the same stuff, since I don't where I put the older driver, anyway, when I get it, I'll contact you
